Eric Reed’s interception against Alabama was a great moment. Game tied Alabama receiver looks like he caught the ball and Reed stole it away

Years ago when I actually was a decent golfer I was playing in the first flight at the Island in Plaquemine. I shot 78 on Saturday and was leading going into Sunday. Parred 1 then went to the second. I’m sure a lot of you know the par 5 second hole. I pulled my tee shot to the left side just inbounds but close to the wooden fence. I tried to swip at the ball and whiffed twice. Took an unplayable and sliced the ball into the water on the right side. Went bad after that. Finished the hole and told the guy I had a 12. He said that he counted 13. Lol. Whatever msn.

I went to work at DOTD in 1995. I started my career in public transportation as rail program manager. One of my first tasks was to finish up a study on passenger rail from BR to NO. The consultant had done a very good study. It would start at Catfish Town with four stops along the route ending at UPT in NO. The cost would be about $30 each way. The route would be on the KCS rail line. As most studies it’s collecting dust in a DOTD closet. The main issue is to get the railroad to allow the use of their railway.

JC was great. Got carried away one game and said something inappropriate. Can’t remember exactly what it was. Ended up calling Southern games I believe. Showing my age, the best one I’ve ever heard was Dizzy Dean. The tv showed a couple in the stand sitting all by themselves and Dean made the comment he kisses her on the strikes and she kisses him on the balls.

I’m really not superstitious but I realized every time I crossed my legs on my recliner something good happened so I said why take a chance and kept them crossed. Oh I also would piss my wife off and she would go to bed and something good would happen plus I wouldn’t have to explain what just happened to her.

This is the right answer. For whatever reason Aranda had them playing soft at the beginning of the year. A combination of players getting healthy and Aranda turning the blitzing loose
