No one has really said anything since we've had it sliced. You like it shredded better?

I think its more authentic. And I dont think it would slide of the bread as easy. The gravy is outstanding and so is the bread. . Trust me I'll still come get it if its still sliced, because I think its the best roast beef poboy that I have had in Baton Rouge since Mandinas left. But I do think shredding it is the way to go

I've been to Off the Hook twice this week for lunch. I work in Industriplex so it's convenient. Monday I had a shrimp poboy and fries. The poboy was overflowing with shrimp; pretty good. Today I had the lunch special; roast, rice & gravy, corn, a tiny roll, and some pink cake. It was enough food to fill me up.

Thanks to you for the business. I also like it a little hotter but cooking for general public is tricky. I'm glad they worked out for you and we appreciate the business.

3rd trip of the week to Off the Hook, did the lunch special: chicken fried steak w/ white gravy, green beans, mashed potatoes, roll, and carrot cake. I'm stuffed, it was a great plate lunch.

I see the roll size doubled today.
The carrot cake was much better than that pink cake yesterday.

I got one tigerdroppings reader in here this evening and actually he didn't want the freebie so we are going to do it again tommorrow.

We are going to do the sampler special all day tommorrow and the first tigerdroppings reader that comes in here will get one sampler platter for free. This is something we would like to incorporate into our menu so hopefully it goes over well.

So our specials for the next two days are:

Saturday: Boiled Seafood Sampler Platter-$15.99
Sunday: Kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal (limit one child's meal with the purchase of one adult's meal).

Jason,

Congrats of filling a void in BR. I have some out of towners coming in next week and will try and get over there for some items.

I wish your place was located on my side of town!

Glad you liked it and thanks for the business. And I'm going to have to try some of that brunch one day at your work. Sounds pretty good.

It's 5:20 and I still haven't given a sampler platter away today to a tigerdroppings reader. It's hard work to give out free stuff.
