Seafood Gumbo Cooking Up


***We will be starting a chicken and sausage gumbo (made with a homemade chicken stock) this weekend or early next week.***
Some new dinner specials we are starting tommorrow.

Thursday Evening (5pm-9pm)
All you can eat fried catfish & fried shrimp. Dine in only.....$12.99

Friday Evening (5pm-9pm)
All you can eat boiled shrimp, corn, & potatoes. Dine in only.....$12.99

Saturday Evening (5pm-9pm)
All you can eat boiled crabs, corn, & potatoes. Dine in only.....$15.99

***Crabs will be #2, medium crabs.***

Sunday
Kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal (limit one child’s meal with the purchase of one adult’s meal). Dine in only.

***Also we are increasing our seating by 10 by tommorrow evening also so we will be able to seat 41 total.***

Yes we do have them most of the time but if you want them hot it's better to call in advance. We don't boil a ton of shrimp during the week and do most of them on the weekend.

What do you sell your fresh crabmeat for? Any problems with shells? Honestly, I've done better getting crab meat from Sam's than I have from the local seafood places. I could never figure that out.


What kind of crabmeat do you buy at sam's? Is it local?

All crabmeat will have some shells in it. You just have to pick through them and pick the little shells out. Crabmeat is picked by hand and it's hard not to have any shells at all in the meat. There is no filtering process for the shells. With that said, some crab pickers do better jobs with the shells than others.

We have all types of crabmeat.

That's for local crabmeat.

I can check into it. I hunted gators for 12 years straight and know a bunch of people that hunt them.

It's $59.99 and includes hushpuppies, catfish strips, tail on domestic shrimp fried, and local fried crab fingers. It should feed 8-10. It's a ton of food.

We usually have it all the time. But you can call ahead of time and reserve it a few days before you need it to make sure we have it. :cheers:

New Additions to the menu

Homemade Potato Salad- using our spicy boiled red potatoes. It's not really spicy just has a little kick to it.

Seafood Gumbo- mentioned this before but we have changed out our gumbo recipe a few weeks ago. Now we are making our seafood gumbo from an actual seafood stock (that I make myself) and is made with a dark roux, okra, bell peppers, celery, onions etc.

Seafood Boudin Balls- made in house with louisiana crabmeat and shrimp.



Yes will definitely have both friday. I think we are out of jumbo lump today but we have some more coming in tommorrow.

The selection of fresh fish gets better everytime I come in, if my mind wasn't made up for soup I sure would of gotten a few portions of norwiegen salmon and halibut


The staff was wonderful, I asked about peeled shrimp which you did not have any when I got there but by the time my poboy was ready they had plenty of peeled shrimp in the case

We stop serving lunch specials around 3 but I can have you one ready after 4 if you want one. Or if you just want the jambalaya, we sell it like that too. We also sell by the 1/2 pint, pint, quart, 1/2 gallon, and gallon.
