Gramercy Tavern or Keens?

I know they are very different.

You’ll enjoy Le Coucou - one of the best meals of my life.

I honestly don’t understand why people go to NYC and want to go to a steakhouse. There’s so much that city offers that you can’t find anywhere else - why get a steak?

This is an excellent point. There’s no difference in the quality of a New York steakhouse from anything you’d find in another major city. Really the only thing unique is peter luger’s which is like 150 years old and serves their steaks differently than other steakhouses. I guess Lugers is a novelty, but I’ve found many other steakhouses across the country that I much prefer.

Both are great.

Keens will give you the old school nyc steakhouse vibe.

Quality Meats is more new age steakhouse.

Price and quality of food is probably the same at each.

Beverage program is better at QM.

It really just depends what kind of vibe you want. I think QM is more "fun". If it was me spending my money I would go to QM but I also eat at Keens way too much (I prefer sitting at the bar at Keens).
