Did you order all of that separately and not order the combo? The combo is like $5 (that's still ridiculous)

Combo with an upcharge for the large beverage.

Meal is $9.89 at the Lynn Haven, FL location.

Idk it's noticeable everywhere. Pizza places no longer give you cheese & peppers with to go orders.

Mexican restaurants start charging for chips & salsa, etc. These places have to do it to keep up.

Had a business lunch at Benihana today, and just a normal iced tea was $5.

This gets me. But someone on here pointed out the price of Cola Syrup has doubled or more recently, which again is absolutely ludicrous as the corn syrup price should not have gone up much.

ETA: I know there's no syrup in tea but most drink prices are the same for tea and cola.

The shrimp cocktail at Mansur's is $18 - they've been shut down for 2 weeks for renovations. Was $14 before that.

To be fair, $14 is below the going rate for shrimp cocktail everywhere else, and they increased it from 5 shrimp to 6

I just picked up from a local Mexican restaurant.
Burrito: $1.50 more ($13.50 to $15.00)
Nachos: $1.75 more ($14.00 to $15.75)
Taco Salad: $1.75 more ($13.00 to $14.75)
Fajitas: $10.25 more ($17.99 to $28.25)

And of course, $.25 per to go container (5 total), which I knew about and expected.

The menus on their FB page are from 2018-2019, so I expected the prices to be higher, but when I realized my fajitas were that much higher, I got a little pissed. It was plenty of food, and I have leftovers, but I wouldn’t have gotten them had I known they were pushing $30. I was expecting them to still be under $25 for mixed fajitas (beef, chicken & shrimp)

A box combo at Cane's used to be something like $6.75, it's now $10.99, that's over a 50% increase.
$5. And it had 5 pieces of chicken. That was in ‘97 though.

Always apprehensive when increasing the prices. The last four years of price increases have been unavoidable. Suppliers prices increase for a number of reasons so unfortunately so do ours. The name of the game is stay in business at this point.

We buy a good bit of filet. 8oz and 10z . We were purchasing psmo ( like the ones u see at Sam’s club) and trimming .average 1000 a month. A year ago we paid about $15.5 per pound . It’s about $21 now. We get it from three different vendors so it’s not like one of them are fricking me. Buying precut ,center cut filets went ( about same time frame) from around $35 to $42. This is upper 2/3s choice , ( choice is dividend into good, better, best- kind of) or CAB. I’m not crazy about CAB , just says the animals linage goes back to angus. The price has been more stable in the last 6 months since the day Covid started. I know it stresses me to no end to raise prices but there’s been no way around it. You can get some kid to run a dishwasher for less than 18 an hour. A fry cook making 22. It’s been hell on restaurants. I promise no one wants the price of menu items to go up.

Just look at Google maps. Click on the restaurant and there will be pictures of the menu going back several years.
