I hope so. It's only a year from now. Man, it really is no joke. I feel bad for him. Hopefully it's not dementia.

Not sure if anyone else notices, but Tom's memory seems to be worsening daily. He really forgets almost everything he's about to say or said less than 10 minutes ago.

Yep. Today he was trying to give directions to Middendorf's--you're on the I55 like you're headed to Pensacola...no Pascagoula...no what's that other P town? Ponchatoula!

A lot of times when he has those mind flubs he tries to play it off like he's being silly, but they are pretty obvious. It's sad, because as big of a chode as he is, he really does have a lot of knowledge, and the decline has been obvious over the past 15 months or so.

I agree. I'd say the last 2 years more so than last 15 months. He forgets something daily, no exaggeration.

In the first half hour today Tom told the exact same story 2x in 10 minutes and seemed to have no realization of what he was doing. It was sad.

I noticed that as well. Sad. Really happened fast too. He wasn't this bad 2-3 years ago.

I have listened to Tom occasionally over the years but he is too snobbish for me. I even called a few times when he stirred me to comment but neva got more than 10 words out fore he hung me up. Guess I am way too trashy for the foody poodle.

I went to his site yesterday to look up a recipe. I hadn't been there in a long while. His dining diaries seem to have more typos than usual and on one, he submitted it before it was done and had to rewrite it and submit again some days later, it appeared.

Don't know if it will work out. He's only been in business for 29 years.

Tom just couldn't remember the name of the Pelican Club. That's a sure fire sign his mind is going.

And he just got trolled about Carreta Grill.
