Bayona and no August or Petite? Hmmm
Also crazy to see Shaya win a James Beard 2 years ago and then completely left off of the list.

I was actually happy to see Maypop on the list...even if it is probably a little outside of the top ten. We were there last Saturday night and it was dead at 7. I think they need a little promotion to survive past this year and I enjoy their different flavor profiles.

I’ve had Maypop once and it was fricking awful. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing.

I just ate at Brigsten’s and was not impressed at all

What did you order at each

Maypops menu is small & little too exclusive for me to have them on the list. Really stays true to the theme but I feel like it makes it one of those places “you have to know what to order”.

I agree about maypop

LPG is consistent and good, but they don’t standout enough. There’s 10 other places like it in that genre

August should always make the list

What about seaworthy ?

I think they’re in my current rotating top 10

There's a good reason. Google it.

No Blue Oak? List is comical.

The “portions so small we left hungry” complaint always says a lot about the person making it.

Best liat he has done yet.

I would leave off Bayona and Clancy's. Great restaurants in thier time, but they never changed and appeal is more nostalgia now.

Lists are so subjective but all it really leaves me wanting is a return to a regular restaurant review by Brett. He is one of the best writers in the food world.

I've only been once (approx. 12 months ago). Left severely disappointed.

OK, this Bayona bashing is bullshite, great place to eat. Always had an awesome meal there and their sweetbread is not rubbery when I had it.
