I have a client meeting me in New Orleans tomorrow. They are staying at intercontinental and requested eating dinner around that area and wants a good steak. Was going to go to Mr John's but apparently they are closed on Monday! I don't frequent Nola..anyone have a recommendation.

The closest one to you is Ruth's Chris at Harrah's. I like Desi's.

For business, I really like Desi Vega's. The service there is some of the best in the city. Chophouse is also very business friendly. Both of these are better for meetings than La Boca, although I love La Boca and would personally rather go there.

Chophouse is good and is about 2 blocks away from the hotel, on Magazine right off of Poydras. Ruth's is a couple of blocks past that.
