The thick lines of grey on either side of the pink middle. Are you blind? Sous vide gives me edge to edge color everytime and I still get the sear I want after.

You are aware the mystique of Dom Perignon is manufactured.

Each vintage is about 2 million bottles. So while you are waiting on your edge to edge color you are drinking extremely overpriced champagne.

But the picture screams "power broker."

I'd have to eat a steak while waiting on my steak.

Pssh. What do you know? You drink IPAs older than his Dom.

Besides, rappers drink it. What else do I need to know?

Agreed.

For that meat not to have an extremely dry merlot next to it or a nutty ale... It's disturbing.

Well they normally drink Cristal or used too. It's another one they try to make believe they have limited inventory to justify the price.

Sous vide and reverse sear makes a better looking finished product. You can argue about the time and effort, but the finished product is superior in my opinion.

If you had a bite of each pictured while blindfolded I'd be willing to bet you could not tell the difference.

drinking Dom and cheese on seafood

my god

the OPs crust is also way better than yours

I'd eat the OP steak before yours because crust is more important than 0.0001" of grey

Well, if you were blindfolded you wouldn't be able to tell which one looked better which is what I said if you read my posts. I could tell which one of the three was sous vide if blindfolded because it feels more like prime rib texture.

If those "gray lines" are thick, I missed out on a helluva career in porn.
