I love it. It is a pretty hoppy beer to me with just very little bite at the end. Don't get me wrong I like the bite as much as the next guy. However, I've seen people drink Jucifer that wouldn't even touch Envie much less Ghost.

The weird thing here is it feels to me kind of like that Jucifer kind of put GB on the statewide radar. I'm sure they had the northshore and NOLA to a degree before....but a lot of people started wanting Jucifer in a lot of different places. I'm just wondering if this is the right move at the right time....I'm sure they are smarter than me when it comes to that though.

Having children limits the amounts of trips I get to make to a bar. So the majority of my consumption comes from cans and bottles or anything I brew up myself. RIP Jucifer consumption

Maybe that was the plan all along -- I doubt they were making much money at $9.99 per 6er of Jucifer. Get the demand up, force sales to taprooms where that $1.75 can at the grocery is now $5-8. Hell, wasn't Brightside was ~$12 for a 4 pack?

They make more money on draft and they've had QA/QC with the cans. Makes sense.

curious as to what type of hoppy beer do you prefer

Seriously, the one time I had Jucifer, any other common IPA you can buy off the shelf at any grocery store had more hops flavor. My daughter, who doesn't like any IPA, said it tasted good and she could drink that.

My guy at Oak Point in central, said that Mockler put it's foot down and didn't want any more BR distribution in cans until they could up their production. Take that for what it's worth. And now, we hear 'no more cans.' frick Mocker.

This must have been a QC issue because Jucifer is hoppy and juicy.

Maybe but all the Jucifer I've had has been pretty juicy and not very hoppy

I mean hoppy and juicy. I had one on tap this evening at the Chimes and it was like hop juice. I've never noticed the QC variations that others have talked about.

Jucifer is plenty hoppy. But not bitter.. I think that's what you're looking for and missing.

Well that is shitty news. It is a really good beer that had mass appeal and was priced nicely (compared to these $13 4 packs).

I also have not with Jucifer...I did get a Korova Peanut Butter Milk Porter one time that had like a half can in the 4pk. That's the only issue I've ever had with any craft packaging no matter what brewery.
