I don't have a problem with the OP's choice. That's his right...though I'd still eat there. But, I ain't eating at a Ted's Montana Grill...and I don't buy BP products....just my choices.

And to the nimrod that anchored this thread, it's about the ownership of a Nola restaurant industry legend and the OP's dislike of the new owner. Why would that drag an anchor?

Dammit, I agree with this, and I "personally" add all the babs, clooney, robbins, nba crap, gm vehicles, and a lot more. My buying list is getting shorter and shorter,,, maybe that's good? I ain't got no monies to spend on gala tores anyway.

But, I know jughead pretty good, mary probly needs somebody to do that for her??

Most chefs and others in the restaurant industry are such staunch conservatives.

Pretty stupid. Boysie is a huge supporter of both Bushs and has been on Air Force one, to the White House, and the Crawford TX ranch more than we could count

Generally I try to keep politics in it's cage, but I bet a lot of the self-righteous leftists had no problem boycotting Chick-Fil-A when the owner made remarks which were construed as anti-gay. So screw your critics, it's you money and time, do as you please.

That being said, I provide a professional service, a few months ago I took a new client to lunch. In chatting with him he expressed such inane leftist mantra BS, whites, as he is, are all racists, Islamic terrorists have a point, lots of moral equivalency, the usual race, class, sexist crap, that I dropped him as a client.

Back to food, the BR Galatoire's sucks anyway, and as ulta-retro-chic as the NO location is, it gets old quick. I leave my place in line to the "a cocktail-shrimp remoulade-cup of gumbo-trout almondine-bread pudding" crowd.

Clint Eastwood has a pretty nice restaurant out in Carmel overlooking the Pacific. You should give that a try.

Does it count if I don't order any of those 3 things?

LOL. you can order anything you want. I know a lot of old and not so old timers who rarely deviate from a set menu at G's. I haven't been in a few years, maybe they have stretched their legs a bit since then.
