went for lunch today and the place was packed. its probly the best buffet i have ever eaten. definitely the best value. this place is going to do really well barring any food poisoning outbreaks.

Ok I tried Nagoya last night and I didnt care for it at all. I would rather visit a reak Sushi place.. 40 dollars for two people for dinner is close to the same rate I pay for good sushi. The sushi I ate here was aweful. The rolls are overloaded with rice to act as a filler. The terriaki was ok didnt try the habachi stuff so maybe thats good but unless you are planning on gourging yourself with bad sushi just to say you can I would rather quality and for the price I can get that elsewhere.

yeah any updated reviews? Do they have staying power? Sushi got any better? worse? Worth trying?

Do they have their cheap lunch for weekends too?

i haven't been since last fall, but it was about the same as i remember

about as good as a buffet as you will find

won't really compete with the best sushi in the city, but better than any buffet (which it should be compared to)

Nagoya and high-end sushi don't belong in the same sentence.

Funny, I ate there today.

For 14 bucks (including tip), how could you be disappointed?

Some people prefer quality to quantity.

I love this place, but I am not a sushi snob. My only complaint is that some of the "oversized" rolls they have could be improved by making them smaller -- they all seem to be stuffed with snow crab plus something else.

Some people know going in that they're not getting grade A sushi. TT4E already pointed out the steal on the sashimi.

Food nazis...we cannot eat 5 star meals every day.

I have a gripe, here, too. Today, they had some newer rolls (at least in the last two months) that were HUGE (too big) and snowcrab was in every one. The diversity is what they are missing the boat on. Also, if they improved their rice/other ingredients, I'd be willing to pay closer to 20 for a visit.

ANY and every buffet will cheat. Like I said, get the sashimi and get your money's worth. I'd rate it as good as a sit down place like Kona or the Drunken Fish...not that this says much, but you get what I mean.

You do realize that you can get two rolls or a specialty roll and a drink at Ichiban or Sushi Yama for what you said your ticket ran you at Nagoya, right?

It's silly to argue that someone is a food nazi just because they choose not to go to Sushi Corral.

I like the place OK. I like their pineapple rice and their plum wine ice cream...
