New brewery on Lafitte Greenway making a soft opening this week. Hoping to get over there tomorrow and try it. Looks like it will fill a niche with Belgians and West Coast IPAs.

I went to Flour Moon Bagels next door a few weeks back and they were still working on it. I'll check it out.

Flour Moon Bagels was very good, but it was very crowded, and they have no large built in fans under the outside where most of the seating is, which was super odd. It was hot as balls.

They did have little table fans you could get but I didn't even see them until we were about to leave.

Wife loves bagels and has been raving about it. I know she goes right at like 7:30 when they open to beat the crowd. Really liked it the one time she brought me one. For sure better than Humble, which are some of the best in the city.

You'd rather more fruit smoothie beers and seltzers? Variety is the spice of life, my friend.

Vista, I like your concept. Self promotion is fine. Just branch out a bit.

Those are shoo-flies. The brewery has a big drum fan on their side.

And the bagels are legit.

The bagels are great and they keep really well in a ziplock for multiple days which I was surprised by. Some fresh bagels turn into complete rocks a day later but these stayed firm on the outside and soft and chewy in the middle for days.

I wish. I do like the idea of retiring one day and starting a brewery, but I suspect I'd drink too much.

Good crowd there yesterday. There's a decent sized taproom space and outside seating with fans, though still hot. I had the 28-3 Belgian and the Vienna Ale. Quite good. Too hot for the IPAs. I'll be back. Nice to have another brewery option in a new area.

I'm on your side, but the haze pays bills these days.

Yes - Agile is excellent. Happy to have another good brewery in the Baton Rouge area. Agile had 20 different beers on tap when I went last week. Looking forward to their soon-to-come Octoberfest selection. They’ll have as many as 10 different Octoberfest variations.

Agile is replacing Rally Cap as a go to, although can top Cypress Coast...
