I've been to Chimes early in the day while everyone is tailgating and it was easy to get a table.

Well, it sounds like Chimes is the place. Everyone seems to agree. Hopefully, we will get there in plenty of time, if not we will just have to have a tailgate party of our own!
Thanks!!!

I suspect you did not say the requisite Hail Marys and Our Fathers as instructed

I attend every LSU football game with my Rosary in my pocket... screaming all kinds of blasphamy, and then say a few prayers! Now, if that isn't a true LSU fan...

nothing but short grain rice, cole slaw with no mayo

and I was just thinking "Hey I LIKE short grain rice... then I saw the NO mayo!
Yea...this seems to be a really happy, disfunctional family... I think I do like you all

The good thing about Chimes is that if your wait for a table is an hour, The Varsity has a giant screen showing games. You get your buzzer thing and go in there. Or get a drink at the bar and hang out on the street.

Just be prepared to wait and it will be a good time.

If only Choc would take your lead. Maybe you can assist me in my efforts to try and change Choc into the gentleman I know he can be. (There's a history, here...fyi)

Choc will probably propose marriage to you since you like SGR. You may have to give of the mayo, though.

Choc is dysfunctional. We're trying to change that. The rest of us are normal.

You've gotten some good advice on restaurants, though I wouldn't go to Walk Ons for the "best" food.

When I was a little girl many, many, many years ago... There was a commercial on TV, that all of you are way too young to remember... Mahatma or Water Maid Rice...my mom always bought the Water Maid rice..she said Shrot grain rice was the way to go!! So, it's a traditional thing for me, and I really do like it better...but hell, you put any kind of rice you want to on the table with some good Gumbo, and ya' think I'm gonna care?
and tell Choc to meet me at Chimes before the game, and I'll bring extra Rosaries!! I've got several.... I am really superstious.. for instance, I would NEVER use my Red Bead Rosary at a Bama or Ole Miss Game! I would use my Gold one! hahahahahahaha

sorry, couldn't resist...we just rolled out a few new features like the google map plotting of the places listed, an improved user rating sort and some other minor adjustments.

I'm hip.
