She could never get it loaded, as she simply did not have the strength to get the slide back.

This is the reason that I will not use the gun my hubby brought home....I hate a slide! and I can't get the dang thing loaded, without feeling it's going to jam or go off!! So, I personally think a revolver is the best bet! I luv my little 32! If you can shoot straight...a 32 will do the job.

I own a litte old 32 S&W revolver...and it is perfect! It fits in my purse, easy to load, nothing fancy! No kick...and straight as an arrow, or maybe I'm just a good shot! hahaha
I don't like any of the ruger type guns...they scare me! and the point in having a gun is scaring someone else!!!! If I have to use it...there is only One side of the story!!

I've been interested in cooking for as long as I can recall, even though my food likes were limited as a child. I thought getting the Easy Bake Oven was the greatest gift ever, though I don't enjoy baking or making desserts very much. I prefer savory cooking.

Touche' Everything she said!!! (except I didn't have an easy bake oven!
I still collect "good" cookbooks!
and HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!
The NECK!! then the breast, wing!
Don't laugh... the neck might seem to be all bones, but if you have PLENTY of them fried real good..........mmmmmmmmm good! It used to be cheap to buy, now you can't even find them anywhere!

Hey Count! Sorry I took long in responding! I was out of town for the entire Thanksgiving Holiday week!! NO! we did not make it to CHIMES. My sisters and I stayed up too late the night before "partying", and got a late start to Baton Rouge. So we did not roll into town until it was time for the Tiger Band to come down victory hill! So we did not get to go by to see y'all! And, damn man.... there were sooooooo many tailgaters, I don't think I would have known who you were.... but you would have KNOWN ME... I was the one carrying around a can of ROTEL TOMATOES and asking if anyone needed any! hahahahahahahahaha

I agree. My dad loved the rivalry between Old Miss and LSU. Grew up hating Old Miss

When I was around 4 years old and Before I KNEW what football was...my dad taught me to walk around the house saying: "Go to hell Ole Miss, Go to hell!!...my mom didn't think it was very funny to be teaching a little girl that.. but it STUCK!! Now I am living in Mississippi surrounded by Ole Miss fans, and this is my favorite time of year....It is still MY biggest rivalry! so GEAUX to HELL OLE MISS!!!
