I asked the other day and got some good recs, but now can't find the thread. I'm traveling through today from Texas down through Laffayette, then south from there

So far I am thinking we may try Best Stop, Billy's, and Nu Nu's

Any other places we should go?

Poche's in Breaux Bridge... A good spicy link that is more meat than rice. Still my favorite...

While you are in BB you can hit Babineaux's Slaugher House and get some boudin rouge if you are so inclined.

billy's is my favorite.

but, if you head north of I-10 to ville platte/mamou area, you can just about buy boudin at every half-mile.

Maybe a really dumb question, but does NuNu's have a reasonable beer selection, namely Parish beers?

Decent selection. I'm pretty sure they carry Parish.

Damn that's disappointing. You going to cook-off downtown in Oct? It's same day as Gulf brew at horse farm, gonna be a great day.
