Bourque'
and while you are there scoop up some jalapeno, sausage, cheese bread.
the real beauty and truth of it all is there is no clear cut winner and this thread proves. there are many top tier places to get boudin and for that acadiana we thank you!

Eunice superette is my all time fav and Mel's is a close second. Honestly you can't go wrong in Eunice with T boys and poultry also

Bourque's
I went to Bourque's in PB recently. I hope I just had a bad batch, but the taste was terrible... And I'm saying that just to make mention, sometimes you can get some bad pork.. Just happens.

Musta been. I take all over the place with me. Love it. Never heard a bad thing. Ever. Actually converted a couple Billy's loyalists too

I'm a big Bourque's lover too.. it freaked me out. They are very good people though. Occassionally I do some cooking out of state and have Bourge's sausage shipped up. One time the meats arrived and the ice was melted and I was worried about the condition of the meats... They shipped up a new box and made sure it was there in time.. No charge.

I grabbed two links from Borques this morning, it was outstanding as usual. They are in my top three.

Market Basket on Maplewood Drive in Sulphur. Not far from I 10. You will NOT be disappointed. They also have smoked boudin....and it is good, too!

I just got 20 lbs in yesterday from Don's. I usually alternate between Don's and Best Stop. If you order from Don's you can request the 2 lb packs instead of the 5lb boxes they usually ship. I think i might like Don's a little better.

it is good,
I have to admit I have heard this several times from different people so last week I had to stop and give it a try.

You will NOT be disappointed.
quote:oh boy it's as far from good as a turd in the punch bowl is good. Matter of fact that's the perfect analogy, Market Basket's boudin is a turd in the boudin punch bowl.
it is good, too!
No disrespect to tnationmom.

Their boudin balls are frickin huge. I ordered two one time and they almost filled up a Styrofoam plate lunch box.
