Need a really good 'old school' caramel pie recipe for thanksgiving

My aunt made the *BEST* ever but she died before I got the recipe

Didn't o Charley's used to have a caramel pie that people loved? Maybe try searching for that recipe?

I've known a couple women that boiled a couple cans of sweetened condensed milk for 3-4 hours in the closed cans. They poured the caramel into a graham cracker crust, topped it with chocolate chips and some cool whip. Called it a pie.

yes, looks alot like these below. the more whipped cream and fun stuff on top, the better.
better than pecan or chess pie by far..at least hers was.
not a big fan of the crockpot method.
