What’s that place in the FQ where you can get a huge plate of fried everything for like 20 bucks? That place. Also, Hi hat is really good. Peche is good, too. Or used to be.

doesn't narrow it down but you can't finish a fried seafood platter at Deanie's

ETA: probably more than $20 now

A few months ago, a fav poboy thread got a lot of traffic on the F&D board. Now, I've not been but since that thread and due to replies, I've been to Yelp several times to look at the poboy pics of R&O. It's a place I have to go to. I must experience those beautiful options.

Same thing happened long ago when I first saw Ki Mexico Shreveport pics. I traveled over finally. It's now my favorite place and drive over from Texas at least once per month, and twice isn't uncommon.

There was a place called the Gold Mine in the Quarter back in the late 80s/early 90s we used to go to in high school and while at LSU. Haven’t been back to NO in years though, so not sure if it’s still there.
