I can guarantee you 100% I can and I'd be willing to bet most Blue Plate eaters can as well.
It's still a great sandwich though. My father called it a wet sandwich or sink sandwich because he would eat over the sink because of the tomatos. Actually he got that from a book but lived by it.

The tomato I used are a special low acid tomato developed at Oregon State. They have so much meat and so few seeds that they weren't very messy. Very nice. We got the plants from a neighbor.

Sandwich looks darn good.
I can and I have. Blue Plate is sweeter than Hellman's. I use both depending on what I'm eating. I've never had "Best's". Interesting that it's made by or is Hellman's under a different name. If it's the same, you're right, I probably couldn't tell the difference between those two.

Blue plate is my favorite over Hellman's and it's not close for me. I've never had Duke's although I've heard good things.
