Are there other people out there who actually prefer baked lays for non-health reasons?
BBQ and Cheetos are legitimately 100x better baked.
Also, it's like their chips, but it's also like their smoking pot.
Kettle>Baked>Wavy>original

Kettle Cooked Jalapeno Lays will end this stupid fight. Might even get you laid.

That's what I'm talking about

Baked is better because it has more crunch.

Real story:
My college roommate was the son of a potato farmer in Aroostook county Maine. He came home one weekend furious because Frito Lay cut their pay hard b/c they could make baked lays out of cull potatos as the quality could be way lower b/c of the manufacturer. Could not compete with idaho and Canada and increasing trucking expenses- out of business.
So basically, if you eat baked lays, you hate potato farmers.

Baked are more like Pringles than regular potato chips.

I find the regular have too much salt, but the baked have a weird stale flavor, and the texture is off, not crunchy or crispy enough. Trader Joe's Ode to the Classic Potato Chip is about as perfect on both fronts as you can ask for.

Pringles > any kind of Lay's

Pringles suck. They aren't nearly as good as Lay's Stax, which is a similar pressed potato flake product in a can.

I haven't tried Stax, but Pringles are far superior to baked lays

I don't like baked Lay's, either. Stax are actually pretty good once in a while, but my mainstay is the Kettle Cooked jalapeno.
