What kind of mushrooms and when do you put them in?

Cook them as you would the corn.

Mushrooms go great in a berl, vegan appeasement or not.

If they really are vegan, drop them in a pot separate from the crawfish or after you clean it out.

I wouldn't put in this much effort. If its that big of a deal just buy a cold veggie plate and put it on the side for them

Noooooo

Drop them in after you cut the heat while everything is soaking.

Regular white mushrooms. I usually throw them in right after I cut off the fire and they're usually all gone by the time the crawfish is finished soaking.

Mushrooms need more cook time than corn. put mushrooms in with the crawfish.

Well that is how I do the crawfish. The second those bastards hit the water, the fire is cut

Dont think the fire being on 3-5 minutes makes a difference one way or the other really.

It doesn't make a shite when you add them. Just leave them in long enough to soak up some heat. 10-15 minutes will have you a spicy shroom.

I just think the shells are too hard and hurt your fingers if you dont let em kinda go for a little bit on the heat. But it definitely wont change the flavor.

This. I've dropped them at various times, and noticed no major difference. I usually drop with or just before crawfish.

Some of my friends like them so I dropped some regular white mushrooms in the boil Sunday when I dropped the crawfish. I don't eat mushrooms but they seemed to like them
