I was just about to post Parrains as being overrated. I've been at least a dozen times for work or whatever and the quality always seems to be just below what you're expecting after you read the menu.

Mike Anderson's. I don't know how that place stays in business, every time I have went it has just been bad but awful.

I agree about Domilise's also, I didn't find it very good.

The one on Lee Dr. definitely. However, the one in Gonzales is still pretty good. Someone on this board said Mike turned over the Lee Dr. location to his son and he still runs the Gonzales one. I guess that would make sense then.

TJ Ribs - joke
Mother's - tourist trap
Mike Anderson's - all starts w/ 2 sticks butter
Juban's - quality has all but disappeared
Cafe Maspero's - does flavor count as quality?
Brew-Bachers - never thought it had substance
Dearman's - quality has disappeared

Yeah, it probably is, but I like the atmosphere for all of the out of towners that will be there.

I promise Walk-On's is not overrated. The only person that says the food is good there is Jordy Hultberg.

Gotta disagree with Cafe Giovanni.

Walk Ons? LOL Overratded? For it to be overrated, someone would actually have to think it's good!

I had Cafe Giovanni on my list of overrated, too. OK, but definitely not worth the hype I had heard.
