This evening was a quick prep meal.
Ham, Swiss, Provolone, turkey with a smear of blackberry spread on Hawaiian buns with potato salad on the side.
Hot out of the oven.
Add a sprinkling of powdered sugar and it was ready to eat.

Those look amazing!
I'm not a huge fan of the Hawaiian buns, but this may be the perfect application for them.

For some reason I was expecting them to be deep fried.

Not fried not a Monte Cristo. Still looks damn good though.

RIP Bennigan's
There are 21 left. 6 are traditional restaurants and the rest are express locations similar to what you would see in a food court. Now I want a monte cristo.
These are the standard, sit-down brick-and-mortar restaurants

Looks interesting, but I'm not sure about the added sugar and the sweet rolls, I'm type 2. But, I have a feeling they would disappear fast at a brunch especially.
