had dinner there last night and it was REALLY good. I find the food is getting better as time goes on. The off the menu specials have been really solide lately.

It was a rabbit and ravioli special...very light with plenty of fresh herbs.

So far, I've found it to be disappointing and I fricking hate the room. I'll give it another shot if I have some reason to be in the neighborhood.

I was at MONDO on Friday night, my second visit and like the menu & the prices are very reasonable. Started off with wood fired tomato/basil pizza, great fresh ingredients. I am a huge fan of the MONDO burger. I have eaten it on both visits & think it is one of the best in the city. Grilled onions on the burger, & it is just the right size not a monster burger you can't get a bite out of.

OK, went for brunch today... it was AWESOME! We had the fresh fruit with yogurt, honey, and homemeade granola (excellent), fried chicken livers with stewed red cabbage and onion 'jam' (excellent), sweet potato silver dollar pancakes with carmelized banana butter and cane syrup drizzle (very good), Thai pork & shrimp meatballs with lemongrass skewers (great), grilled pimento cheese/andouille/carmelized onion sandwich with crab boil potato chips (very good), goat cheese lemon crepes (very good). Also had an excellent bottled ginger beer. This place instantly became one of my favorites; I'll definitely be back. Was unable to try the 3-course Saturday lunch at Bayona b/c we arrived just as they stopped serving at 2pm... guess I'll have to try it next time I'm in town.

I went a few weeks ago. Got the basil and tomato pizza and mussels. Both were really good. Ordered a few apps that were good too. Place was nice and prices were reasonable.

Every time I've gone there for the last two years it's either been closed or there's been over an hour wait.
