I don't allow miracle whip in my house. Blue Plate light is the ticket!

Miracle Whip? Ugh.

I use Blue Plate Lite also, but let me give you a little advise. I noticed my tuna salads, potato salads, cole slaws, got watery if they sat in the fridge overnight. I checked the ingredient list on the BPL, guess what's first, water. They create the emulsion with water and oil, instead of just oil, that's where they save the fat and calories. Now I keep the BPL for sandwiches, but use regular mayo for salads and slaws.

Nothing like slathering a piece of bread with Miracle Whip, folding it over and....ahhhhhhhh....sweet drunk food!

I grew up in a Miracle Whip household. I discovered mayo, and I converted. Mayo is superior.

There are three things that require Miracle Whip...

BLT
Fried bologna sandwich
White beans and rice

No other reason to have it...

i've tried mayo in white beans. It's a Mississippi country thing. It's actually not bad if you don't put too much, but i like mine better without it.

No way - Miracle Whip is NASTY.
Blue Plate is my first choice, or Helman's.

No lite mayo either, what the hell is that? lite mayo? that shouldn't even exist.

Side note: Like 15 years ago McDonald's gave me some lite mayo packets when I asked for mayo on my burger (this is back when special orders were really a pain in the butt, they didn't like to take them and refused to put mayo on my burger b/c a burger came with ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions only).
I objected and said I wanted regular, they said they didn't carry it, only lite- and I was like really, come on, this is McDonald's - do you really think lite mayo is making this food any healthier? The manager just shrugged his shoulders and said that's all we got.
