I mentioned that I bought 2 filets last night for my wife and I to grill out and it cost me 20 bucks. He told me I was crazy and he buys his for 2 or 3 bucks each! I tried to explain to him that these are fake meat but he doesnt get it.

The meat glue process is nasty. I wonder how many people believe these are real steaks!

It is what it is brah. It's cheap.. I know it's just glued together meat but every now and then I buy those just because they're cheap and easy.

MMmmm, meat glue.

But seriously, I would never buy one of those fake fillets. I'm IRL poor, but when I buy steak, I buy the good stuff. Life's too short to waste on shitty steaks.

That meat glue shite is crazy. The people who glue the meat together have to wear breathing protection because the glue is highly toxic..so yeah, put it in peoples' food, brilliant!

yeah I always told people that. A real "filet mignon" is a beef tenderloin. Those things are weird.

Like I say no f'n way a "filet mignon" would or should ever be cheaper than a skirt steak.
