Only correct answer is RICE! 'Course I grew up in SW LA. Rice 3 meals a day!

I'm from NLA, but a portion of it that grows a shitload of rice. I like rice. But not a as much mash taters.

With gravy? Rice.

Mashed is my least favorite way to eat potatoes, but if I eat them, I'd rather them just be buttery or cheesy or garlicky.

Gravy goes on rice for me. Especially with roast or something. Rice won't stick to my roast the way mashed potatoes do

I need more info. Describe the gravy. Describe the meal.

Rice, unless it's hamburger steak with onion/mushroom gravy, or white gravy with chicken fried steak. Those are the only 2 acceptable uses for mashed taters.
