Do any other breweries with big hoppy beers fight the inconsistency that Parish is facing right now?
Yes. Many do.

They should sell Make Ghost Great Again hats
Parish was on hand at Calandro's rare beer raffle tonight and sure enough they gave away MGGA hats :D

To each his own. A lot of people like Pliny but I don't. I'm more of a hazy Trillium, Treehouse, Odd 13 kind of guy.
And get this. There are actually people in this world who like both! Amazing, isn't it? It's similar to enjoying both pizza AND tacos, because they're both fricking delicious.

Come on, baw. We all know that clarified IPAs are so 2014.

In my non-maven opinion, I enjoyed the latest batch of Ghost more than the Plinys I got this past summer. With now two of the eight Ghost bottles seemed off, but the other six were top-tier West Coast style.

Bastard. I won nothing. I did fork over a pretty penny for some Cascade sours. I hear good things about the beer, but that price point is ridiculous. Granted they are 750 mL, but still.
For those that don't know, think Bruery sour prices, maybe a bit more.

Jesus dude, those are pretty standard prices for 750s of barrel-aged, fruited sours. Be glad your number didn't called for any of the lambic that was raffled. You might have had a heart attack when they rang it up.

I'm willing to pay $30 for Cantillon, i've had some before and loved it. I understand the prices being what they are, doesn't mean i have to like it. Again, i'll see if the price point was worth it when i try one this weekend.
FWIW, that's what keeps me from buying Bruery beers.

And FWIW, i prefer Great Raft and Wicked Weed's approach to sours, and bottling in 500 mL. Makes it more approachable for those interested in sours. It may be the same $/oz., but the sticker price is much more palatable at $12-15 as opposed to $22. Just my opinion.

Wait, the Cascades are $22? Damn, don't ever go look to buy them in Texas or Alabama. You'd really shite a brick. They're generally north of $30 a bottle when I've seen them in places around Houston and Mobile.

$22 for Cascade is cheap
I've never seen them less than $30

Yep. Go stock up. I got 2 yesterday. Cdro said cascade lowers their prices when entering new markets. He hopes y'all don't hate him when the price jumps back up to $30

I'm not faulting Calandro's at all, i think they are fair on the price. I'm not faulting Cascade either. Just saying, the price point will keep me from buying a bunch if they are anything other than fantastic. Untappd reviews look pretty good for the 2 i grabbed.
