picking up a client at the JW Marriott on Canal. Need a good lunch spot in the CBD. No steaks - did that last night.

I think Luke is a good suggestion. Drago's is only worth going to for the chr-broiled oysters and the gumbo (nothing special, but it is good). I think most of the menu at Drago's is pretty lame.

Went to Luke Saturday.
Half-Dozen gulf oysters for .25/oyster

Cochon w/ gribiche sauce - Suggested by server it was so/so. Won't get it again, but had an interesting flavor.

Had the veal/pork Pate - Awesome

Mussels and Fries - Good stuff.

Ready to go back. Too much to try.

That's all I've ever had there, and they're hard to beat.

I had a shrimp poboy there that was fine, but you really have to suck at life to mess up bread + lettuce + tomato + shrimp. Just use good shrimp.
