Lunch/dinner and craft beer around NYC

Flying out to NYC for the first time this Thursday and staying until the 5th, so about 5 days.
Outside of Saturday night dinner (Robert), none of my lunch/dinner options are set. Looking for recs on good lunch spots or dinner options that won't break the bank but isn't something I can get over here.
Similarly any craft beer bars (bonus if they serve food). I plan on doing Blind Tiger for lunch on Friday but any other recs are appreciated.

If you go to the Empire State Bldg, the Gingerman is right there, and I thought they were pretty good. They had some decent beers on tap.

One of my buddies just helped open a new beer bar in the lower east side called Paloma Rocket. It's the first self serve beer bar in NYC and the beer list looked pretty solid to me.

Looks like a winner, only 2 blocks away from where we are catching Phantom of the Opera Friday night. HF on tap so I'm there.

How's it going Dav. Where are you staying? Any problems with getting around the city? Willing to go to BK?
Being NYC, there of course are tons of great food options. And thanks to incredible distribution up here, just about any place you walk into is a great craft beer place.
Here are a few of my favorite places now that I've lived here for about 15 months.
More than likely will update this list as I remember places:
Upper West Side
Jacob's Pickle (Beer and food)
The Beer Shop (Good tap list. Great bottle selection. Growlers as well. No real food but may allow food on patio from outside. Luke's Lobster and a great taco place next door)
George Keeley (pretty good tap list)
Levain Bakery (Just great damn cookies)
Hell's Kitchen/Midtown West
Valhalla (Bar food but wings are pretty tasty. Beer is always great)
Pony Bar (Another good craft spot. They own the pizza place next door which make some excellent zaaa)
Beer Culture
Alfies (Food and beer)
Chelsea/Meatpacking/West Village
Coopers Craft and Kitchen (Good burgers and decent other foods)
Arts and Crafts Beer Parlor (Never been but heard good things)
Blind Tiger (Duh)
Carmine Street Beers (Great bottle shop with about 5 ish beers on tap.)
Lower East Side/Alphabet City
Top Hops Beer Shop
Fools Gold (WANGS!!)
Good Beer
Alphabet City Beer Co
Spitzers Corner
Midtown/Midtown West
Rattle N Hum
Gingerman
The Cannibal (GO HERE IF YOU LOVE MEAT!!!!!!!)
The Jeffery (Food and beerrrrsss!!! Same owners as Fools Gold)
No need to go to Upper East Side for beer. I'll update more with food. If you're willing to go into Brooklyn then you have even more great options like Torst, Other Half Brewery, and many more.
You must eat Pho and you must eat Ramen. DO IT!
Also let me know if you want to catch a beer together. Hiltacular and I will be in the city and are always up for beers. Just don't be a creep

Great list bbrou, appreciate you.
We're staying at the Westin Grand Central so I'll be right near the main station. Plan on buying a Metropass once I get to the airport. Brooklyn is an option, will have 4 full days and 5 nights. 2 of those days are full, atm.
Want to try OH brews but hoping to find them on tap in Manhattan. Like I said though BK might be an option.

We are going to just miss one another in the city, but we might be on the same return flight. You coming back through JFK or LGA?

Have heard great things about threes brewing if you make it out to other half they are right down the street.

Completely forgot about threes. They are making some incredible stuff right now. Definitely worth the list

Other Half is releasing beer on Saturday... I would swing by early, pickup some beer and have a drink or two in the tap room. From there you have some pretty killer beer bars all within a mile, double Windsor, owl farm, bar great Harry and Threes Brewing (they carry other breweries beer also). Threes is one of my fav bars in the entire city.

Blind Tiger is a definite, will be grabbing lunch there before the 911 museum on Friday.
Pony Bar and maybe Valhala are now on my radar. Would like to find a nice rooftop bar too, not expecting a top notch selection but the wife and I want a nice view.

I'm not crazy about Blind Tiger. Over priced, the beer menu is on the average side for nyc (believe it or not).
I really like Fools Gold, the beer menu is just stupid.
You willing to go to Williamsburg for a rooftop bar??
-the wythe hotel (prob the most popular rooftop bar in the city, go during an off hour during the day), berry park, Northern Territory (Greenpoint)

You can try La Birreria on the Rooftop of Eataly. If it's a nice day it's damn beautiful. Slightly pricey but food is top notch and I've had a few great beers there. I think my first time there I had Main Brewing Lunch which pairs great on a rooftop.

And my favorite bar is a place called the Dead Rabbit in the FiDi. Really cool place
