Looks like a great weekend for this event. I'm glad they moved out to the new festival grounds at City Park.
Here is the food list. I'm heading that way in a few minutes and will report back if I find anything outstanding.

Cool thinking about going there after work. Interested to see Devon Allman and Revival Allman Bro experience.

Hopefully get out there tomorrow or Sunday. The new festival grounds are nice. I might know the guy that designed some of it.

Good. I'd like to talk to them. Its not a festival grounds, its 4 soccer fields encircled by a track.

That's 4 soccer fields and a track more than you need for a festival grounds. Really all you need is an open field with electrical connections and you can call it a festival grounds. FWIW, the soccer fields are designed to double as the main seating areas for that stages of Voodoo fest. I didn't do that part. I only did the wetland in the back.

Yeah but your electrical hookups are so far away from where the staging areas are as to make them pointless. And where is the water?

I am kidding. Sort of. Its a great site and an asset to the park, but I wish about 5 things were done differently.

Yeah, the best part is that it is raised and will never become a mudfest.

I agree about the set up, it ends up making everything so damn spread out. At the beer festival few weekends back, but was silly to have that much of a spread on things.
Also, for an event like this, they need to consider a big arse tent or two in the middle for shade and some places to sit and eat.

I still enjoyed my brief visit. Had the bacon wrapped shrimp over cheese grits from Mr. B's. My wife had a duck po-boy. I enjoyed the craft beer tent area as opposed to being stuck just drinking bud products.

Quote of the day over heard as some woman is going nuts over how good her food was " God this is so good my nipples are hard".

I didn't think the beer event was nearly as spread out as Hogs.
