Yes. Not so much the case where I work. People come in for the gumbo.
We've sold more gallons the past month than I've ever seen us sell.

We are known for the gumbo.

But in general yes you're right.

I would say my favorite was at Atchafalaya restaurant in New Orleans. Seafood gumbo at LA Lagniappe in BR is good as well.

Almost everywhere else I've had gumbo it was mediocre.

I was surprised, tofu stirfry was actually the only really stupid thing on that list. Although, I don't think of pizza as something the average person really NEEDS to know how to cook.

That's disgusting. In New Iberia we stuffed them with onions, garlic and cayenne. Then mixed in sausage and baked them in the oven.

i'm telling you man... used to cut them up and mix with rice n gravy and it was fricking killer. My great grandmother would make a fricasse and always had these on the side. You had to do them every year b/c they needed to sit a while prior to eating them.
