and already done in California will mean it will be hard to come by.
Those NYC Progressives at work
The New York City Council is expected to overwhelmingly pass legislation on Wednesday that would ban the sale of foie gras in the city, one of the country’s largest markets, beginning in 2022.
New York City would join California in prohibiting the sale of foie gras, the fattened liver of a duck or goose, over animal cruelty concerns.
“New York is the mecca of dining in the world. How is it possible that New York doesn’t have foie gras?” said Marco Moreira, executive chef and owner of Tocqueville, an acclaimed French restaurant near Union Square, which offers an appetizer of foie gras from the Hudson Valley. “What’s next? No more veal? No more mushrooms?”
Enjoy is while you can because if California and NYC are done so is everyone else.

I feel like there will still be producers even if it gets banned in NYC.

It's the never ending course of vapid virtue signaling. And the chef is right, veal is probably next. There is NEVER an end, because in their minds there can NEVER be an end. They always have to have a "cause" to fight for. Otherwise their identity ceases to exist.
The funny thing is that all the pussies (mostly SJW liberals) will continue to push and push until the create as enemies every rational person.
This is how it starts. Foie gras is mean. Well, if foie gras in mean, then so is veal. Well if veal is mean, then so is just regular beef. Well, if beef is mean, so is chicken, etc, etc, etc

To some extent sure but when those Hudson Valley Farms lose their biggest market having already lost California it will be the nail in the coffin for a lot of them and those that stay will be forced to raise prices which, will the market bare?

Two things that if done right are very tasty.....if true, it's NYC's loss.
