Looking for legit smoked sausage in DFW ...

Got a friend in the DFW area trying to find some good stuff.
Anybody know any places out there they can get legit smoked sausage or andouille for Gumbo, Jambs, and Beans? Any TX brands that are suitable?
As of right now their only hope is going to a store named "Fiesta?"

You'd think a place like Texas, known for delicious smoked meats, would provide smoked sausage suitable for Cajun meat dishes. But sadly, no.
I'm at times purchased the Holmes pecan smoked sausage at the grocery store, then light a small log in my smoker and put it in the barrel for an hour to get some smokey flavor. Then cut up for a chicken and sausage gumbo.[
But mostly, I just make sure to load up an ice chest when back home with smoked sausage from either Teet's, Peto's, Rita's and Rabideaux's and make sure it's enough to last till the next trip.

If you're not far from deep ellum go to Rudolph's. Their sausage is incredible. I'll make a trip there a couple of times a year. LINK

I just peeped their website, but it didn't list products.
Is their smoked sausage suitable for Louisiana dishes such as Gumbo, Jambalaya, and Red Beans?

Highly doubt they have a list anywhere. But everything I've bought there is incredible. Certainly good enough for any dish. I've cooked some into beans and jamba. But mostly just grilled and eaten straight.

May be a bit far north in Frisco, but some on here have said it's good before.
From the website:
You guys on this site probably know this since it's from Baton Rouge

Besides Chris's and Rudolph's, check Hirsch's. They do have andouille.

Kroger carries Zummo brand andouille that isn't too bad.

Is the boudin good too? I live in central MS and have been wanting to order some sausage and boudin from south LA that you guys always talk about.

This. Zummo's is garbage. Anyone who has had any boudin or smoked sausage from Acadiana region would throw that stuff in the trash after first bite.

I haven't made it up there but want to soon. It's just a bit out of my way to go past 5+ butchers etc. to get there.
May try and convince my friend to do it for Thanksgiving
