High Hat
I really like their pimento burger, but I find myself always going to Company instead. High Hat is $12+tip for a burger and fries. Company is $9 for a burger and fries, and I prefer Company's fries to High Hat's. Their burgers are on the same level in my eyes, so price and sides are the deciding factors.

Absolutely nothing special about company burger. It was just a huge hype machine. Smash burger is better than company...

If we did a blind taste test, put them together, Company would win 99 out of 100 people.
Smash is not even good.

Hype. Here it is again. Company Burger is one guy's interpretation of the classic all American cheeseburger. It is not some huge meatball that you can add 40 different toppings to, not that there is anything wrong with that.
It is a fantastic burger. The "nothing special" about it is that they use excellent beef, that is barely messed with, high heat, salt, American cheese, onions, and bread and butter pickles. And a soft bun.

That's why I said Swamp room, beachcorner & company burger aren't even on the same level. Do you really think these bars are using the same quality of ingredients as CB ?

Of course not. I'd be willing to bet they are all sourcing their patties from the same 1-2 companies.
I was just pointing out how something which is sort of the anti-thesis of hype i.e. here is what I think of as the classic, no frills, all American burger is, gets knocked down because someone was expecting something that needed to live up to "hype".

Swamp room & beach corner are only good when you're drunk.

Luckily, the trolls seem to enjoy being fed thick cut Cisco burgers.

How long you have you worked at company?

One reason why all those bar burgers are lumped together is because save the seasoning put on by the grill cook, they are all using the same products from bun to patty to cheese to lettuce and tomato.

I wasn't being serious I was exaggerating to make point but yea the point remains, company is the most overrated burger joint in the city.
The bar "the harbor" in Metairie is better by a landslide

I didn't write 2 paragraphs professing it as a great American burger...

I like Beachcorner and have never been drunk there. 3 beers max. I like the food but that place isn't my kind of crowd
