Not pricey, but portions could be better.

If the food is overpriced, inconsistent, mediocre at best and the servers are rude, surly and unfriendly, I'd say they have captured the London dining experience perfectly. An A for authenticity.

They can't have commercials in soccer, everyone would leave.

My uncle owns a pub in Stevenage in the UK, sets the bar really high, all the "pubs" I have been to suck no matter how new or old.

I went there yesterday and the food was good. I'm a little pissed they didn't have Ace Pear or Kilt Lifter, and had no clue if it was going to be available again.

I also wasn't happy about a waiter screwing with the jukebox after I put $10 in and requested a bunch of songs. He didn't like my traditional Celtic selection. If that happens again, I'm going to ask for the manager.

Overall I had a good time...again.

Yep..I was told they have no idea when or even if it's going to be available. Something to do with the shipping company. Sounded odd...

Which brewery is providing their kilt lifter? I've been perusing the offerings of several distributors the last few weeks and I've seen the "kilt lifter" name from 5 different breweries.

Mockler beverage distributes it .. from what I understand .. the chimes and bulldog shite a brick when they found out how well they were doing with a beer they didn't have .. now Mockler can't keep up with the demand of all three .. at least that's the story the londoner's telling .. they do have it in the 20 oz bottles for $10 .. just keep running out of draft ..

they are about $1 to $2 higher per pint on basically all of their drafts compared to other places .. but i don't mind it at all .. their prices are keeping the crap out of there ... i will gladly pay an extra $10 or so an evening if i don't have to deal with some 21 year old college douchebag ..

Hmm, it's not on Mockler's keg list. Special order maybe.
