Somehow I have misplaced the aluminum lid to me 5 gallon jambalaya pot. I have been using a large baking sheet the last few times but really need the proper lid. Mine is the King Kooker brand. Anyone know where to get a lid that will work?

Find a baw at a machine shop to make you one. Have him add latches to it for serving so you don't have to keep removing the entire lid

Measure the diameter of your pot and go to a restaurant supply store.

Do you have a jig saw? Aluminum is pretty easy to cut with a jig saw, if you can't find one.

Bet they got one sitting right down the street at the stop sign.

I lost mine too and cut a lid out of 3/4" plywood, added a handle, and it works perfectly.

This! Or go to a Restaurant Depot. Lids are sold separately in Restaurant supply stores.

A friend of mine who works at Sears on Scenic cut me one from a sheet of aluminum. Works perfectly.

There are several water jet cutting businesses in Baton Rouge and will have aluminum stock on hand. Get 3/16" thick aluminum plate. If funds are no problem get it 1/4" thick plate and have them machine the outer fit to fit into the inner pot and lay over the top providing a good seal and perfect placement every time. Thicker plate will hold heat better too.

Krazy Kajun Cookware in St Amant.
He cuts them all to your liking. Full machine shop.
445-3636. He's rebuilding his car wash right now, so some days he's hard to reach or wait time might not be the same day.

I was at Restaurant Depot on Saturday and thought about this. I saw one I believe would fit a 5 gal. pot(I have one myself, that's how I know). I want to say it cost like 17-18 bucks.
