I was a cashier at a Fudruckers that did milkshakes. The cashiers had to actually make them. We were also specifically instructed to upsell them on every order. One day during a rush with a line out the door, a secret shopper comes through and I didn't upsell him a milkshake because then I'd have to stop taking orders and spend 5 minutes making a milkshake with 20 people in line. I got in big trouble for that. It's not as if someone ordered one and I told them the machine was broken, I simply didn't try to upsell the milkshake. frick corporate bullshite. When someone brings up milkshakes, that's the first thing I think about and puts me in a bad mood.

Love a chocolate milkshake from dearmans.

Loved the chocolate peanut butter malt at fat cow.

Rose petal wine milk shake from creole creamery.

Chocolate is my default choice.

Steak and Shake has a Dark Chocolate shake I order when available.

Used to be an old fashioned dairy bar type place in my home town that made fantastic blueberry and peach shakes. Few places these days try those, or do them well.

Chocolate is my favorite. I prefer a malt if I can get it.

Best nontraditional milkshake I've had was at Cheeburger Cheeburger in Auburn. It was a key lime pie shake. Key lime ice cream and crushed graham crackers, topped with whipped cream.

Not really. Does every place have them? No. But Dairy Queen has them, and any local mom and pop burger place does too. Also most ice cream shops will do malts.

And yeah. Malts are just a shake with malt powder, but oh does it taste so much better!

I wish more people had non-dairy milk shakes. I loved them so much in my youth, but they're not worth the agony in my adulthood.

Anyone tried the Whataburger Dr. Pepper milkshake? I saw a billboard on my last trip down I-10 and was curious
