Lafayette lunch recommendations

Going to a conference tomorrow. Ends at noon and want to do a sandwich/poboy type place.

You can't really go wrong with either Olde Tyme Grocery or Pops Poboys. I like the regular ole shrimp poboy at Olde Tyme, Pops has some good poboy is you're looking for something a bit nontraditional. The Cajun Castro and Jala Back are my favorites.

Johnson’s Boucaniere has pulled pork poboys. I know th pulled pork is good, but I don’t know what the poboy bread is like.
What part of Lafayette is the conference in? Maybe Chris’s might be more convenient. Pops and Olde Tyme are both great.

Olde Tyme shrimp or Half and Half (1/2 Shrimp 1/2 Oyster).
Pop's has some good stuff but you can't beat Olde Tyme's basics above. Don't know what their special will be tomorrow but go check it out.
