I was wondering about this one too... picking out a good place to go is like trying to find a bad restaurant in the quarter...

Best boiled crawfish you'll get at an eating establishment, IMO. You just better get there by 5pm if you go on Friday or Saturday during crawfish season...or you'll be waiting.

I like Hawk's too

If you are looking for crawfish in Lafayette the little place next to Earl's on Verot Started buying their crawfish from Hawk's so they should be good.

I think the name is Crawfish Hole

Looks like i'm the black sheep, but I love Nimbeaux's. They are much easier to find now that they are on Pinhook too.

Ok...lots of Hawk's fans. I've haven't tried them yet, so I suppose I'll have to refrain from judgment.

I have been told before that Hawk's is the filet mignon of crawfish. I'm also told you pay for it, as well, like-wise.

I thought it was good years ago. Went back about 3 or 4 times and it was consistently disappointing, so I never returned. I never thought it was great to begin with, though. Just good.

Poor Boys is so much better.

Good place for a hangover though. Get the catfish bytes smothered in the crawfish tu te' - with non crunchy potato salad... roll you straight out the door into the amberlampse.
