well then i made a good choice to live within close proximity to that bar. I looked at the calendar and everything seems to have a heavy acadiana influence. not a bad thing, but sometimes im in the mood for something else. do their acts have a decent variety?

Also, a friend told me naked pizza was rocking. is this true or not? if not, whats the best pizza in town.

I love pizza village. Never tried naked pizza though. Give PV a chance. it's on the northside though, off of Moss street. I recommend the Dupe Special, and a cold pitcher of draft.

Having lived in BR and the Lafayette areas for most of my life, I prefer Lafayette. Welcome to the area skygod!

Has Deano's reached "cool to hate" status?

Cause I love me some deano's.

Pizza Village and Deano's are both great. I actually started eating salad b/c of PV (nothing fancy but the ham on it got me to try salad for the first time as a kid)

Blue moon does have alot of cajun/zydeco, but I've seen a couple of hard rock shows and a rockabilly/swing/blues band (the howdies).

Edit: Where is naked pizza?

I actually ordered Naked Pizza last night, and it was very good.

Do you like seafood?

I may be in the minority by think Antoni's in the oil center has the best pizza in Lafayette.

Blue Moon does have the best live music, but be warned of the massive amount of stinky hippies who hang out there. Doesn't bother me much, but sometimes it can be overwhelming....

Deanos will always be an alltime favorite of mine.

Also for pizza Rochettos on the frontage road in Scott is pretty good as well.

and you have to get there early if you want to actually "see" the show. Otherwise your stuck at the bar in the back 2 feet below the crowd

Those are the ones I mentioned who use the front house as a Hostile. 10 people in a room for $5 a night. I forget to ask Falgoust if they have a commode or a biddet in there?

I haven't been to Deano's in about a year, but I liked it in both BR and Laffy for pizza. I was sorry to see the BR restaurant close.

My opinion doesn't really count much in here but I really enjoyed the sandwiches at Deano's.

Why?

The only thing I've had there is pizza and I think they had a fried eggplant chip app at the BR restaurant. I love fried eggplant, so I liked these a lot sans any red sauce that I think may have come with it. I like them with just parmesan just fine.

The fried eggplant comes with their spinach and artichoke dip, it's pretty good

Eta: crawfish nachos are good too

I say that because I don't live in Lafayette like y'all do. I was there a lot for two months last year, that's it.
