Whole Foods usually has them. I've seen them at the one in Lafayette previously.
Older Brother. Talk about a waste of talent...Austin had some major demons.

100000% agree on White Pillars. Easily the most "surprisingly good" meal of my life based upon what I was expecting going in (which was a nice average meal). Love the old school feel of the bar.
Silver Springs is the winner IMO. Can find in the cooler section at Rouses. Have tried them all, and this is the easiest to consistently find that will make you slap the table!

I agree Courvelle 10000%. His prices are outrageous, but he’s an awesome and talented guy. Chadleys for everything other than sausage. I get Lagneaux’s to do my sausage.

Love my 590. Would get the 700 if I had to do again. 2 medium briskets were about the max I could do, and I'd like the space. That being said, it's amazing grill with outstanding customer support. Spoke to the owners when I called their customer service number to discuss some questions I had before buying.

Mazen all day especially if you like crab meat.

Get the fish in any preparation.
Mix of pine and hardwood about 50/50. They want around $28/acre. I think it’s high for the type of deer that have been shot on the property. Not really great genes.
Looking at a lease east of Liberty in Amite County, MS for next year.

Trying to get a ball park idea of what leases in the area are going for? Feel like what they’re asking is way high.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I like Lagneaux's and Acadian. Really like the fresh and smoked sausage from both. Neither are cheap, but they do very good packaging and labeling.
I use a 12 qt restaurant grade container. Camwear I think. You can find sous vide specific lid for most of them. Amazon has a bunch of various items. Sometimes I'll still use a tall stockpot if I have a long item i.e. a Tomahawk Ribeye.

Damn, he looks like a mini version of his dad running. Charlie was a beast at Barbe.

Off of 584 between winding Road and Patterson Road. About 4 miles SE of town. That's encouraging. Was he hunting in woods or over plot?

I love when I ask myself the conscious question of ""did you proof your post" and my booze brain responds "Nah...I'm sure you typed everything correctly"....I will say the "chafing" autocorrect seems strangely appropriate based on this awful weather.

Heading up to the lease outside Liberty for the next few days. Has anyone seen any chasing yet? Wondering if it's time to sit all day?
