Fatt Pats Bugers = Mason's Burger in BR

If you made it to Rouses in Youngsville. Check out NuNu's - Best Boudin around and a good selection of sausages and stuffed meats.

Daily, except on weekends.

I'm going to take the risk and continue to go there. The crabmeat is fresh boiled and beautiful. I'd risk my life for it, though I've never had to in all the years that my friends and I've been going there. It's where quite a few of the local restaurants get their crabmeat.

I've never been there at night. They sell so much of it so quickly, you have to go during the morning or early afternoon most of the time to score any.

We will read about you in the police blotter section of the paper one day.

Do they have mexicans that peel the crabs? Do you think they would let me borrow them when it's not crab season?

Just off the southeast corner of Johnston and Convent, downtown. The house in the front is used as an old time Hostile(?). Mostly hippies and French visitors looking for a group $5 room. Lot of foreign backpackers, see the world by hitchhicking, no itenerary, save the whale, hippy types.

The side and back is the bar.

I know the address, but I don't go that way often. I would like to go once but not if it's a crappy place.

are we still talking about lump crab meat at this ghetto place that count is scared to walk in?

ETA: Thanks for all the suggestions. I really was nervous about moving, but I feel like I'll be able to find some spots that will feel like home in no time!

Yes, we are. I've never heard of a problem there in years and years. It's right on Evangeline Thruway in a very busy area.

Chez Francois is perfectly fine as long as the sun is shining. You gotta understand, CC rolls up there in his Bently wearing his $5,000 suit flashing his solid gold rolex all while making it rain with $100 bills. Then he wonders why he gets surrounded by the masses. Just kidding, you can go there after the sun goes down.

There are certainly worse places you could move. I think you will learn to like that area. It's colorful and the culture is entertaining. You're not far from BR if you need to make a run once in a while. You can give us reports on your finds and your opinions. I would love that.
