I'm going to take the risk and continue to go there. The crabmeat is fresh boiled and beautiful. I'd risk my life for it, though I've never had to in all the years that my friends and I've been going there. It's where quite a few of the local restaurants get their crabmeat.
I've never been there at night. They sell so much of it so quickly, you have to go during the morning or early afternoon most of the time to score any.

ETA: Thanks for all the suggestions. I really was nervous about moving, but I feel like I'll be able to find some spots that will feel like home in no time!

Yes, we are. I've never heard of a problem there in years and years. It's right on Evangeline Thruway in a very busy area.

Chez Francois is perfectly fine as long as the sun is shining. There are certainly worse places you could move. I think you will learn to like that area. It's colorful and the culture is entertaining. You're not far from BR if you need to make a run once in a while. You can give us reports on your finds and your opinions. I would love that.
