Lab-Grown Meat in Cajun Cookin' – Future of Gumbo or Sacrilege?

Hey OT fam, buzz about lab-grown meat getting FDA nods and hitting fancy menus got me thinking: what if we unleash it on Cajun classics? Bioreactor in a Broussard kitchen vs. hunting hogs—evolution or Yankee ruin? Let's debate.
Quick 411: Not plant fakes like Beyond—real cells grown in vats, no slaughter. 2025 sees Upside Foods scaling chicken/beef, pork/seafood next. Tastes legit, cheaper eventually, no factory farms.
Ideas:
Jambalaya with lab andouille—perfect fat, sustainable, but snaps right?
Gumbo with cultured chicken—leaner for roux simmers, eco-friendly, blind test vs. Zatarain's (loser buys Abita).
Etouffee via vat crawfish—no shortages, saves wetlands, but ritual feels off?
Pros: Sustainable for climate-hit LA, jazz-like innovation (Emeril's "Neo-Cajun"), healthier no hormones, biotech jobs via LSU.
Cons: Loses soul from hunts/recipes, taste close but maybe bland, pricey/creepy now, "globalist plot" fuel.
Y'all in for lab boudin at fests? Recipes? Or nah, like vegan king cake? Roux pics! Geaux Tigers!

He sucks. He was trying to defend those saying the Blue Angels should not do shows in WA because of noise pollution to the orcas. He is a whack job.

Is it commercially available, yet? Has anyone here tried it?
I'm not using lab andouille in my gumbo, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious about the flavor profile of artificial meat.

Grok says:

States that have banned lab grown meat
Seven U.S. states have banned lab-grown meat as of August 2025: Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Montana, Indiana, Nebraska, and Texas. These bans prohibit the production, sale, or distribution of cultivated meat, often citing protection of traditional agriculture and concerns about safety or consumer clarity. Florida and Alabama were the first to enact bans in 2024, followed by Mississippi, Montana, Indiana, Nebraska, and Texas in 2025. Iowa has also restricted lab-grown meat by prohibiting its purchase for schools, and other states like Arizona and Georgia have considered similar measures or labeling requirements.

A restaurant in San Fran and DC served lab grown chicken for a time but stopped due to limited demand. It has much more popularity in foreign countries, such as Singapore.

The future is exciting. I'm imagining lab grown steaks, perfect marbling, without the need to raise, care for, and slaughter.
