You can't beat Billy's balls, though I'll get pushback on that because boudin balls are typically delicious wherever you get them. Billy's crawfish balls are no contest, though. Those things are lights out.
On a side note about Kartchner's, I think their regular product is delicious, but I've only had it once. It had big globs of fatty meat in it, like their meat wasn't trimmed well and texturally, that's a giant "no" from me. I usually stop at Billy's, but stopped at Kartchner's one day instead for a change of pace and to try out their boudin.
Is this just how they do their boudin, or is it normally leaner and maybe I got an off batch and need to give them another shot?. I really hope it was just an off batch and not their normal style, because their stuff was friggin tasty. It would be nice to have a go-to place on either side of the road when I'm going through Krotz Springs.

I’ve read that in past Kartchner’s threads on here, but didn’t notice it on the smoked links we had a few weeks ago.

Mr Ts in Elton is my all time favorite also! It is head and shoulders above any other that I’ve ever had.

You cant go wrong with billys or kartchners, but in my opinion billys has a little extra spice that I prefer.

I like Billy's dont get me wrong... but its something about their batter. Like it looks like a chicken strip batter. I like a darker batter almost like a hushpuppy. Different strokes

Not sure if Kartchner's putting a store in Scott is the best idea. And I love Kartchner's.
