This sharpener is idiot proof and gets all our blades back to sharp enough in 5-7 passes.

Thanks for that recommendation. Always looking for better knife sharpening options. I'm going to give that a try.

Good thread.

THIS. Cheap as all get out on Amazon and can grate a pound of cheese in no time.

Also electric kettle. So many uses for water heated to boiling in less than a minute.

That's an odd way to say "polygamy".

my wife fell in love with those giant kitchen tweezers after watching pasta queen and i got her a set on amazon and she uses the hell out of them.

I am genuinely curious.......what does she mostly use them for? Aren't they just fancy tongs? If so, why are they better?

I use them to flip small things in a frying pan. Also to arrange or pick small items in a salad for example.

The classic "killer application" is picking an egg shell out of eggs that you've scrambled in a bowl.

have the Breville Smart Oven (Toasts, Bakes, Broils, Air Fries, etc)...get used more than my main oven.

I came here to say the same. I have an older Breville toaster oven, not smart (LA public school product?) that fits perfectly on the counter and is large enough to cook 95% of what we need. It’s great for keeping the kitchen cool in the hot LA months. Maybe the combo models have shrunk in size so will check those out.

Great call on the gel mat and vacuum sealer.
