There must be a better word to describe this than that one.
I forget that many girls hate that word. It's better than crusty though, right?

The one in Chalmette was Randazzo's Goodchildren Bakery, they didn't re-open after the hurricane. The family members that ran that one opened Nonna's on the Northshore & just opened another Nonna's in Chalmette a couple of weeks ago.

^Someone in my boyfriend's lawschool class brought in Randazzo's kingcake from Chalmette. Must be the Nonna's one then.

I've had Covington Nonna's before (at a Saints Superbowl party last year) and it was stale and dry. I still say Manny's pwns them all. I like Dianne Randazzo's but I think she puts a little too much icing on hers.

Someone brought in an Antoine's to the office yesterday. It was exceptional! Maybe the best I've had this season.

At least a 1) a) to Randazzos.

Personally I am a fan of Frances' Bakery in Metairie.

I can't believe Sucre is so high.

$20 for a small dry cake. I think its looks alone are helping it with people.

No where near as good as Haydel's

Crusty sounds delicious. Crusty bread v. Moist bread.

Antoine's is my favorite that's still around. People have been trying to sway me to Hi-Do, and Hi-Do is good, but not as good as Antoine's.
