Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale

Have you had this? It's been around for awhile but it's becoming my go to brew now. Any where from 8-10 alc. At the bars/restaurants it's usually served in 10oz snifters. Much better on draft, of course. Sell it in 4 12oz bottles in stores and runs about $12 for a 4 pack. Real smooth, amber in color. Aged in whiskey barrels. I can have 2 and feel good. I drink 4 and I'm good for the evening.

I have had it. It's really good with a Kentucky fired cured cigar BT Drew Estates. I like the beer and it's damn good on draft or bottled. First time I had it was at a cigar bar in Ybor City.

I like it a lot. I like the Bourbon Barrel Stout as well.

Tigertown, ... you know where I can find that out here?

I'm pretty sure Smokerise Bottle Shoppe has it. At least they usually do.
I don't think it is too hard to find in general. I will likely be going by there tomorrow or Friday. I will check.

One of my favorites. I have a 4-pack in the fridge now. In the fall they put out a special pumpkin spice flavor ale also.

It is widely distributed in Ga. Most Kroger and Publix will have it.

The Stout right? I think the Ale is all over the place but the Stout is a less widely distributed.

Publix on Sugarloaf has neither one.

I think a larger liquor store should carry both

Had a few of these on draft at the Jack Daniels joint in the Opryland Hotel. Loved it, can't find it in the land of Miz.

I need a better spot, then.
I go to 29 package (on Hwy. 29/Lawrenceville Hwy.) in Lilburn.

Uncle Buck,
Smokerise Bottle (corner of Hugh Howell and Lilburn-Stone Mountain) has the Ale and the Stout.

I need to revisit this brand. Probably been five years since I've had it, and my tastes have radically changed. I remember liking it. It's on tap a lot of places around here, but I always pass over it due to ABV.

I prefer the Stout over the Ale. Both are solid though.
