We were gifted some by a fisherman friend, and we boiled them in crab boil and served with corn, potatoes and corn. Served with drawn butter. Boston crawfish boil!

They were fantastic.

They take longer than you think to boil, I think they crack the shells before they steam ordinarily...but we didn’t want to do that when boiling. We sautéed the mostly raw meat in butter after discovering our times were off.

I have had them boiled before and they were very tough/chewy. I am assuming this was the cooks fault. Maybe someone can address how to keep this from happening. I am assuming they were not boiled long enough? Hopefully someone with experience can chime in.

I got 2 @ 2.5 lbs each and Lobster207 told me to boil 4lbs for for 30 minutes or steam for 32 minutes. They didn't give me a 5lb time, so I"ll wing it. I just hate to waste 106 bucks

Next day air from Lobster207 in Maine, the little bastards rode first class apparently. 70 bucks for the lobsters and 36 for next day air. That's not bad imo.

It's not terrible, but goes to show that if you're going to spend money shipping lobsters from Maine, it's more economical to get more than 2.

Cut them in half, live. Put them on a scorching hot stainless steel flat grill.

Should be in garlic, parsley, and a thick EVOO. Dash of Himalayan salt.

Pretty damned good.
